Full Time - Mayo 0-10 : Leitrim 0-06. Mayo get 2012 off to a winning start. In many ways a typical first match of the season but Mayo did have more determination and quality when it came down to it. After a wavering last 15 minutes in the first half Mayo had control in the second period and the introduction of Conor Mortimer did seem to up the tempo a bit. All in all a good first outing without being spectacular.
